Jenna Siracuse Loewer, DPT
I have always been fascinated by movement. Growing up I participated in dance, cheerleading and figure skating, which is where I first fell in love with how the body works. I still lead a very active lifestyle, and through my own journey with exercise have continued to explore movement and ways to make it more efficient.
I am a Western NY native and in 2011 graduated from Nazareth college in Rochester, NY with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduation, I spent time working with an amazing mentor who taught me the ropes on providing high quality patient care, and more specifically dance medicine. I was lucky enough to gain experience working with The Rochester City Ballet, Garth Fagan Dance Company and Eastman School of Music. Working with this population has given me the opportunity to stay connected with the dance community, while no longer dancing myself.
I relocated to Northern VA in 2013 and quickly realized my unique experience with Dance Medicine was able to fulfill a need in this area. I decided to chase my dream and officially opened On Pointe Wellness and Rehab in 2016, with the goal to help others through personalized Physical Therapy. Although Dance Medicine is my passion, I have continued to expand OPW to help anyone who is ready to invest in their health and live a pain free life. I have been able to even further expand my reach through my Health + Wellness blog and Wellness Workshops.
I have always loved educating others so, in addition to my clinical practice, have served as an adjunct faculty member at Nazareth College and George Mason University. I am also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Orthopedic Section of the APTA, Performing Arts Special Interest Group, and the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science.
Outside of my life as a Physical Therapist, you will most likely find me doing anything outdoors or whipping up healthy recipes in the kitchen with my husband and baby boy. I am a lover of Jimmy Buffet and am constantly plotting how to relocate to Costa Rica someday ;-)
Most importantly, I know how important it is to be able to live an active, healthy life and it is my personal mission to make sure every one of you can do the same!
My Promise to you:
It has always been my vision to provide the community with the best Physical Therapy experience possible. I promise to always provide you with the highest quality care and personalized attention that you need. This is why I am so committed to working out-of-network with insurance companies, and I whole-heartedly believe this is best for you as the patient. I truly look forward to working with you in the future and cannot wait to become a part of your journey towards living your healthiest life!!
